Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data SEOdisaster.com ("we," "us") collects when you use the site or play the game, why we collect it, and who we share it with. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@seodisaster.com.

Account & game data. When you sign in, we collect your email address (via Supabase Auth, using passwordless magic links — we never see or store a password). While you play, we store your chapter progress, stars, XP, chosen difficulty, and any achievements you unlock, tied to your account.

Payment data. Purchases are processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant-of-record. We never see or store your card number — we only receive confirmation of the order (an order ID, the tier purchased, and the email you checked out with) so we can unlock the content you paid for.

Usage analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It reports aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g. page views, referrers) — we cannot identify an individual visitor from it.

Error diagnostics. We use Sentry to capture crash reports and errors so we can fix bugs. An error report may include technical context (browser, the page you were on, and — for payment-related errors — your email and order ID) but never payment details.

AI Coach (Entity Master tier). If you use the AI Coach feature, the relevant chapter and your in-game choices are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. We don't send your email or payment information as part of these requests.

We use one essential cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in between visits. It's required for the game and dashboard to work and isn't used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We don't use marketing or ad-tracking cookies.

We use the data above only to:

• Save and sync your game progress across devices
• Unlock the tier(s) you've purchased
• Send magic-link sign-in emails
• Diagnose and fix bugs
• Understand aggregate site traffic to improve the product

We do not sell your data, and we do not run ads.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run SEOdisaster.com, each acting under their own privacy policy:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (merchant of record)
• Vercel — application hosting
• Plausible — anonymous, cookie-free analytics
• Sentry — error tracking
• Anthropic — powers the optional AI Coach feature

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@seodisaster.com. If you're in the EU/UK or California, this includes the rights to access, correct, delete, and export your data under GDPR/CCPA.

We keep account and game-progress data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep payment records for tax/accounting purposes.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of SEOdisaster.com after a change means you accept the revised policy.
